The bottom line is.you get what you pay for. I got the rear panels reskinned, some minor body work, and metallic black paint on it. He took it back to maaco and they repainted it and blended the whole car to make it look right.

You pay for a $200 job you get a $200 job. For others it depends on how particular you are on the paint. This is because they don’t do thorough preparation and neither do they use quality paint.

I say go for it. You pay $4000 for a paint job then you had better look at some of the work the guy has done before. Beats a can of spray paint in 94% of cases 😜 yes i've actually done a better job with $50 worth of spray paint.
